One image per page. A JPG that is already upright is embedded as-is, with no re-compression. A photo whose EXIF orientation says it should be rotated is turned upright first (that one image is re-encoded). "Fit to image" makes each page exactly the pixel size of its image; A4 and Letter centre each image on a standard page with the margin you choose.

How this JPG to PDF tool works

Each image you add is decoded in your browser to read its size and, for JPGs, its EXIF orientation. When you convert, the images are placed one per page (in list order) into a new PDF with the pdf-lib library, and the PDF is offered as a download. Nothing you add or generate is ever sent to Docspira or anywhere else.

An upright JPG is copied into the PDF byte-for-byte, so there is no extra quality loss and the file stays small. Only an image that needs rotating to look right, or a PNG, is re-encoded. Images of different sizes are handled independently: with "Fit to image" every page matches its own image; with A4 or Letter every image is scaled to fit the page and centred.
