Each selected page is rendered to a bitmap and saved as JPG. One page gives you a single .jpg; more than one gives you a .zip. Rendering happens page by page and each page's memory is released before the next, so large PDFs stay within the tab's limits. A very large page is capped at 25 megapixels. Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened.
How this PDF to JPG tool works
The PDF is opened in your browser with Mozilla's PDF.js engine, loaded from Docspira itself (no third-party CDN). Each page you selected is drawn onto a canvas at the resolution you chose and encoded as a JPEG. With one page you get that image directly; with several you get a ZIP built in the browser. Nothing you open or generate is ever sent to Docspira or anywhere else.
Higher DPI means a sharper, larger image and more memory while rendering. Text and vector artwork stay crisp at 300 DPI; scanned or image-heavy pages are limited by the scan's own resolution. Pages are processed one at a time and released immediately, and any single page is capped so it cannot exhaust the browser tab.

What this tool does
Render PDF pages as JPG images.
Before you start
JPG is a lossy image format, so use it for previews and sharing rather than for text that must remain vector-sharp.
